Padmasambhava Day at Gomde DK

Spring is here and we have happily carried a new Tara statue (a gift from Erik & Tara) to the bank of the lake, waiting there for Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche to chose the right placement spot this summer.

Several types of flowers have bloomed and many others are peeking through the grown.

And, we have confirmation for the dates of the SummerCamp: 29 juni - 9 juli.

The weather today is warm and sunny with degrees reaching up to 17 c.


Two weeks ago, we had cold nights, down to -12 c.

We are happy to invite you to an auspicious Dharma event with a profound Buddhist wisdom teacher Khandro Rinpoche.
She belongs to a unique lineage of female masters and yoginis who have inspired one generation after the other.
Since it is first time that Khandro Rinpoche comes to Gomde Denmark, we sincerely welcome everyone to be here and receive Rinpoche and offer a warm welcome.

Khandro Rinpoche arrives Thursday April the 15th around 6 pm.
She leaves Gomde Monday morning April the 19th.

The retreat starts Friday at 10 am and ends Sunday evening at 6 pm.

All prices include participating in the retreat over Friday, Saturday and Sunday and also include 3 organic vegetarian meals a day.

Happy new year from Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche

Dear Sangha of Gomde Denmark.

I hope you were able to see my online New Year’s greeting we sent out through Dharma Sun, but I also wanted to make sure to specifically extend those prayers to you.

I wish you all a healthy and happy long life, with great success in your practice. As mentioned in my video, I feel it is very important that we combine listening, reflecting, and meditating, all of which should be motivated with the vast wish to lead all beings to enlightenment.

Harmony and compassion are extremely powerful. This is our fuel from which the impossible becomes possible. Please never underestimate them. Through strong compassion automatically our obscurations will be purified. What does that mean? It means our negative emotions will become less and less, and this is what Dharma practice is about. When our negative emotions are less, we become more calm, and, as it is said, through calmness, the intrinsic wisdom will be able to shine forth.

Therefore please continue to give your uttermost to improve your kindness, your calmness, and your wisdom.
